ACCREDITATION

Mediator in civil, commercial, and labour law matters

Mediator for Court of Quebec, small claims division

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

University of Sherbrooke (2020)
Mediation in civil, commercial, and labour law matters

École du Barreau du Québec (2019)

University of Ottawa (2018)
Civil Law License, cum laude

WHY DID I BECOME A LAWYER? As soon as I finished my pre-university studies, I went into the profession of law somewhat automatically, in what I would call a linear way. Unfortunately (or fortunately!), I quickly realized that the traditional practice of law did not suit me completely.

The idea of creating a legal study in my image – authentic, dynamic and unconventional – naturally came to me as soon as I officially became a lawyer. Plume Services Juridiques is born out of my desire to contribute to the community by offering accessible legal services.

I use law as a vehicle to carve out my true passion: people and mechanisms that govern intra and interpersonal relationships. My favourite fields of practice are those where the management of emotions comes into play.

Besides my legal practice, I am a horse rider and a yoga instructor. My way of practising law is certainly coloured by the universal learning of my relationship with horses and also the teaching of yoga, which helps to achieve true introspection and finding balance in everyday life.
MY MODO Everyone should have access to quality and non-judgmental listening, regardless of their history.

WHY DID I BECOME A LAWYER? I will always remember the time after I graduated from pre-university studies: which career path should I pursue? My choice has led to the legal world. Ultimately, law is a valuable tool for achieving a goal that has always motivated me since a very young age: to help people.

One of the highlights of my academic career is my involvement with the Environmental and Indigenous Peoples Law Association and the National Pro Bono Student Network. I became concerned about access to justice by dealing with various social realities, some of which involve multilayered complexities.

Follow my desire to serve the community within an ethical and human firm, I joined Plume Services Juridiques in January 2022.

Since my life is obviously not limited to my profession as a lawyer, I believe in the importance of listening to each other and maintaining a balanced life. To achieve this, I maintain an active lifestyle, including practising yoga, rock-climbing and adventure  hiking. I am also a member of the board of directors of the Fondation Faim d’aider.
MY MODO Everyone should feel confident and be able to act in harmony with their values.
